Coming off their first loss of the season, the Atlanta Falcons (8-1) will look to reignite their 2012-13 success when they take on the struggling Arizona Cardinals (4-5). After starting off undefeated themselves with four victories, the Cardinals have dropped their last five games.

The Falcons are adamant about moving forward from their 31-27 loss to the New Orleans Saints as they try to maintain their spot atop the NFC. Interestingly enough, Atlanta hasn't lost two straight regular season matchups since Dec. 6-13, 2009.

Defensive back Dunta Robinson spoke to ESPN about the team's innate ability to rebound from a loss.

"We have a veteran football team, so we've won games and lost games and it's all about the way you bounce back. One thing I know about this team in the years that I've been here is that we've always bounced back after a loss and I don't expect anything different," he said.

"I mean, we're 8-1, so you can't be too down and you can't be too disappointed about that. ... We're still excited about our future," Robinson added.

Despite the loss, QB Matt Ryan put up 411 yards and threw for three touchdowns with one pick. TE Tony Gonzalez also played stellar with eleven receptions for 122 yards and two touchdowns.

Overall, it was the Falcons lack of production against the Saints' poor run defense that played a large part in their defeat. However, coach Mike Smith feels as though the team as a whole must continue to improve.

"We've got to do a lot of things better. It's not one position group, it's not one guy, it's the entire offense," he said.
