Lizzie Rovsek is speaking out against the recent comments made by Donald Trump.

During his Presidential campaign announcement, Trump accused Mexican immigrants of being rapists and bringing drugs into the United States, In response, the Real Housewives of Orange County star shared a message to fans on Facebook.

"I recognize that a current controversy surrounding the owner of the Miss Universe Organization has created some bad feelings and calls for boycott against Miss USA and its affiliated sponsors," Rovsek wrote. "Regardless of recent statements made by Donald Trump, the Miss Universe organization has always been a place of celebrated diversity, as evidenced by the wide range of ethnic backgrounds of its contestants."

Following Trump's comments, NBC booted him from The Apprentice, and announced they would not air the Miss USA pageant next month, nor would they air the Miss Universe pageant next January, as previously scheduled.

"I do not agree, and am saddened by the recently expressed views and words of Donald Trump. However, there are 51 innocent young women following their dream that should not have to suffer because of Mr. Trump’s remarks," Rovsek continued. "These women are competing for a fantastic life experience and are complete innocents to the controversy. Why should these strong women, who have worked so hard for this opportunity, including six Latina contestants, suffer and have their pageant experience ruined?"
