Michael Douglas might not be on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, but that's not because he doesn't want to. The Hollywood actor recently admitted that he is currently learning the ropes of how to use social media, thanks to his two children, Dylan and Carys.

During an interview with Extra this week during the Los Angeles premiere of his latest movie, Ant-Man, Douglas admitted that his children are teaching him how to use social media and as much as he wants to learn all about it, he's a slow learner.

He said, "I'm a very slow learner, I get very nervous," said Douglas. "I say 'Show me,' and they try to take it out of my hand. I say, 'Don't take it out of my hand, tell me, show me so I can do it. You go and do it so fast that I can never repeat that.'"

Douglas - who has been married to actress Catherine Zeta-Jones for almost 15 years - also said that his children can't wait to see him on the big screen for Ant-Man. They will be joining him for the red carpet in the British capital next week.

He said, "I just came over her for this, but the next premiere is in London, this next weekend, so they're coming on the red carpet and all that, and they're very excited."

Douglas also said that his son Dylan was very excited for him to be joining the Marvel franchise.

"He was like my agent, Dylan. He's 14, he's like, 'Dad, you don't understand, this is a new audience for you,' and I said you're right, most of my career was R-rated movies."
