Charlize Theron went out this weekend in Cape Town, South Africa, with jeans, a layering of a white and yellow shirts, and a noticeably shaved head.

The actress and Oscar winner is almost unrecognizable, though she made the transformation over the summer for her role in the upcoming "Mad Max: Fury Road." She's back in South Africa, her native country, to film final scenes of the action movie, according to Access Hollywood. Theron, 37, was spotted eating lunch with her mom, Gerda, at Cafe Caprice in South Africa on Nov. 16.

"Mad Max: Fury Road" is set to come out in 2013 and stars Tom Hardy, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Nicholas Hoult and Zoe Kravitz among others.

In October, the home in South Africa where Theron grew up became the scene of a murder.

Police investigated the death of Barry Newman, a man who lived in Benoni, South Africa, and sold cars from his home. Five thieves reportedly broke into his home - the same one in which Theron used to live in- forced Newman into the bathroom, bound him with rope and put a plastic bag over his head. He died of suffocation.

Theron's last film to hit theaters was "Snow White and the Huntsman" in which she played alongside Kristen Stewart and Chris Hemsworth. The actress has been in a slew of acclaimed films throughout her career, including "Monster," "In the Valley of Elah," "North Country" and "The Italian Job," just to name a few.

She has two films announced to start production, according to IMDb: "Two Eyes Staring" and "Snow White and the Huntsmans 2" It is rumored that Stewart will return to her lead role as Snow White but following her affair with the film's director, Rupert Sanders, nothing has been confirmed yet.
