Trainor has been advised by doctors to be "on complete vocal rest" due to a persistent problem of having a hemorrhage on her vocal cords.
She revealed in October of last year to the Entertain This! section of USA Today that she had to go on vocal rest while making her debut album since she developed polyps on her vocal cords. She's really frustrated about missing shows since she has "never missed a tour date before." The show that was scheduled for tonight in Atlantic City was actually the kick-off show for Trainor's The MTrain Tour. The "Dear Future Husband" singer revealed a short video on Instagram through text posts on her phone her further frustrations about being on vocal rest.
"We are going to see another doctor in New York," she dished, adding, "I want to cry but I can't cuz it will hurt more."
The singer said she "will make it up" to her fans though once she can.
