The city and its surrounding area is set to have a bevy of events to celebrate U.S. independence, including fireworks displays, concerts and festivals occurring all day on July 4th and throughout the holiday weekend.

Chandler's 4th of July Firework Spectacular
Where: Tumbleweed Park at Germann & McQueen roads
When: July 4th, 7 p.m.. Fireworks begin at 9 p.m.
Admission: Free, $5.00 for parking
About: 25 minute festive firework show with food and non-alcoholic drinks available. Those attending are free to bring their own.
Scottsdale's 4th of July Celebration at Westworld
Where: Westworld
When: July 4th, 2 p.m.-9:30 p.m.
Admission: $6-$12 at the door, other prices and VIP options vary
About: Offers live music, a kids zone, food and drinks and air conditioning. Fireworks kick off at 9 p.m.
Where: Steele Indian School Park at 3rd street and Indian School Rd
