Fifth Harmony July 4: Why Did Camila Cabello’s Mom Get ‘Really Emotional’ While Celebrating America’s Birthday? [PHOTOS, VIDEO]
The girls of Fifth Harmony were not together on the 4th of July, but they did seem to each spend time with their respective families and hometown friends.
Normani Kordei Hamilton soaked up the sun in Hawaii with some friends. They got to enjoy a gorgeous beach with a cool wooden swing hanging off a tree.
Ally Brooke Hernandez seemed to love life in Texas! She even took an unintentional dip in a lake.
Why Does 5H's Lauren 'Hugely Support & Encourage' American Fans Of Legal Age To Vote?
"Guys I fell into the lake," she revealed with a set of pictures of her in the lake.
She also wished all of her Harmonizers "lots of fun" for their 4th of July festivities, adding, "be safe."
Dinah Jane Hansen meanwhile was home with her family in California.
She witnessed the use of "illegal fireworks," which is common around the U.S. during the 4th of July celebration.
Camila Cabello probably takes the cake for most emotional 4th of July celebration though. She was with her family in New York City. She was specifically on the East River so she got to witness all the stunning firework displays up close. Cabello shared a photo of herself as the fireworks went off along the river and dished that her mom "got really emotional" while taking in the magical celebration in Manhattan.
Why did Cabello's mom get so emotional? Well, it has to do with their journey as a family. Any fan of the 5H singer knows her family moved from Cuba to the States so her mom felt really overwhelmed that they got to "spend a Fourth of July in New York City with a front row seat to the most magical firework show in the country."
It sounds like this girl group celebrated the holiday just right -- with loved ones.
