5 Seconds of Summer In Sydney 2015: What Animal From The Taronga Zoo Does Ashton Think He Looks Like? [PHOTO, VIDEO]
Downtime in Sydney is just what the Aussies of 5 Seconds of Summer needed!
What Will 5 Seconds of Summer's Guitarist Michael Clifford Be Doing An 'Endless' Amount Of?
They absolutely love touring, but it does take its toll after a bit of time out on the road.
The band wrapped the New Zealand and Australia leg of their Rock Out With Your Socks Out Tour last Monday.
What Has 5 Seconds of Summer's Luke Hemmings Been Up To Since Returning To Sydney?
From Perth they went home to Sydney and have been enjoying being in their own beds, eating home-cooked meals and more.
5 Seconds of Summer's drummer Ashton Irwin went to the Taronga Zoo on Monday in his hometown. It is a not-for-profit organization that supports wildlife conservation.
While there, he visited with many of the animals, including elephants, tigers, koalas and more. The zoo cares for 4,000 animals from over 350 species, which includes many that are likely to become extinct according to the zoo's website.
The Aussie claimed he "found out" that he looks a lot "like many animals."
He even got to hold a "little possum," which definitely has big, entrancing eyes like Irwin's. Plus, the possum and Irwin together is cuteness overload! Just look at their faces below!
"THE ZOO RULED," the drummer declared.
We hope the 5SOS band member will post more pictures from his trip to the zoo!
The band will continue their tour later this month with their first stop in Las Vegas on July 17.
