Madonna went topless for the newly released ad for her new fragrance Truth or Dare Naked.
The 54-year-old entertainer's provocative black and white ad captured her bold confidence that one can be sexy at any age.
Truth Or Dare Naked is the latest product from the pop legend's Truth or Dare by Madonna lifestyle brand that she announced would target women aged 27-50. The fragrance is available exclusively at Macy's.
Madonna's Truth Or Dare line encompasses fragrances, accessories, footwear, handbags and lingerie.
According to the folks at fan site Madonnarama, the launch of Truth or Dare by Madonna will also include an expansive line that includes "bracelets, earrings and a special Dom Perignon champagne bottle with custom made packaging."
No stranger to controversy, Madonna created much ado over the debut of her first scent.
According to a report, ABC asked for a re-edited version of the commercial for her first scent, Truth Or Dare, when it was released in March. The network asked for a revised edit that featured a more covered up Madonna, who flaunted her cleavage and exposed her derriere while wearing a corset.
"ABC viewed the ad [and] came back with a list of changes," a source told Page Six. "They say they want her bra digitally made bigger, and to extend higher to cover more of her chest, and her corset longer to cover more of her bottom. ABC also wants to cut another suggestive scene where Madonna writhes around."
"ABC has requested some changes be made to the content of the Truth or Dare perfume commercial," a second source confirmed.
To the surprise of the network's advertising department, Madonna team wanted the ads to run during their hit show "Scandal" and the now canceled "GCB" a show about Christian, stylish women in Texs.
Madonna is the latest celebrity to pose topless or nude for promotional purposes this year.
Rihanna posed topless for her latest fragrance ad and the recent cover of GQ magazine, Natalie Portman posed topless for the Christian Dior beauty ad campaign, Christina Aguilera was nude for her "Lotus" album cover and Mila Kunis went topless for her "Sexiest Woman Alive" honor for Esquire magazine.
