Ever since Zayn Malik walked out on the rest of One Direction it seemed as though his friend and producer Naughty Boy had a lot of nasty things to say about the boy band.
Naughty Boy even had a Twitter spat with Louis Tomlinson, which Malik briefly engaged in after leaving the band.

There has been plenty of speculation about why Malik left and when he will release solo music, if he even goes that route. It seems likely since he has worked with Naughty Boy on material before while still in 1D.
Plus, it seems like the duo's ship name "Zaughty" will be trademarked by the former 1D lad soon.
Anyway, five days ago BBC Newsbeat revealed what Naughty Boy had to say about his friend's future in the music industry.
When Malik initially left the band while they were on tour he was seen back in the United Kingdom with Naughty Boy, but the producer dished they were not making music at that time.
"I was there for my friend and in this business it is not the easiest thing to make genuine friends," Naught Boy commented, adding, "During that time we weren't making music, we have made music in the past."
Does that mean Malik will never work on music again? No, but Naughty Boy said it will be on Malik's terms.
"[W]hen he is ready and when the fans are ready," Malik's friend said.
He also noted it will probably be next year that the former 1D lad will release something.
