Once Upon a Time co-creators Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz recently spoke with Entertainment Weekly, which previously fielded questions from Twitter for the showrunners.
One fan asked if Hook would go back to the dark side considering Emma (Jennifer Morrison) has now done the same. Kitsis did not believe that Hook would suddenly no longer have reason to be good.

"I think he has a great reason to stay good and that is to save the woman that he loves. I hope he holds on," Kitsis asserted.
Another fan asked if Hook's Jolly Roger would be utilized in any way in season 5. Both co-creators were pretty positive that it would show up again.
"I can't imagine it won't be," Kitsis said, while Horowitz added: "How could it not be? You've got to use the Roger!"
A third fan asked about the possibility of there being another Savior now that Emma has succumbed to the dark side.
Kitsis coyly said, "Sure is," while Horowitz said: "That's a great question."
Once Upon a Time fans last saw Emma being swallowed up in darkness after sacrificing herself in order to contain it. The series will pick up where it left off in the season 4 finale when it returns in the fall.
Once Upon a Time season 5 premieres Sunday, Sept. 27 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
