Ranbir Kapoor seemed to have himself a lovely night in with his family although it did not include his reported girlfriend Katrina Kaif.

On Wednesday, Bollywood Life posted photos of Kapoor as he spent time with his mother on her 57th birthday. Neetu Kapoor celebrated the big day with her son, husband, daughter, granddaughter and other dear people in Taj Mumbai. The site posted snapshots of the happy family as they smiled for the camera and Neetu blew out the candles on her cake.
There's no word on why Kaif wasn't at the celebration, but there could be a number of reasons for that. Since she may not be an official member of the family, perhaps she wasn't invited. Or, she could've had something else she needed to do.

There have been constant reports in the past year on what's been going on for Kaif and Kapoor, but they manage to keep those details to themselves. Kapoor previously dated actress Deepika Padukone who recently opened up on how her ex will always be important to her.
"No matter how much we move on in our lives and no matter how comfortable we keep telling people we are working with each other, the question will keep coming up," Padukone said via FilmiBeat.
Whatever future lies ahead for these two, the actress made it clear that she will be keeping the memories.
"The point is, it was, is and always will be a very special equation that we share," Padukone said. "Something that one can't explain and describe in too many words."
