Sheree Whitfield is open to returning to Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta after NeNe Leakes announced her exit.

Whitfield, who left the show after its fourth season, just before Kenya Moore and Porsha Williams joined on for the fifth, is said to be in talks of coming back to the series now that there is another opening.

Several people have told E! News that Whitfield is possibly returning. Or at least talking about it.

With Leakes leaving, it’s no secret that another woman might have to come in to keep the show entertaining. So why no Whitfield? After all, she’s another veteran who had been with the series from the beginning. It might not be a bad idea to bring her back to keep the culture and credibility of the show. It’s still not clear why she left (or was given the boot), but between her divorce drama with former NFL star Bob Whitfield and her spats with Leakes and other co-stars like Kim Zolciak, she definitely brought her share of drama.

But casting rumors for the show have been swirling since the seventh season ended a few weeks ago. From singer Fantasia to actress Kim Fields, there is plenty of speculation as to who will be the newest lady holding the peach. Reports also claimed that Claudia Jordan was let go after Leakes requested she be fired. But those haven’t been confirmed and might not be completely true since Leakes is no longer on the show as a full-time cast member.
