One Direction 2015: Boy Band Launches Action/1D ‘To Help Make A Difference’ [VIDEO]
One Direction probably made their biggest announcement Wednesday aside from when Zayn Malik quit the band.
How Are The Remaining Members Of 1D Coping Without Zayn Malik?
The boy band has teamed up with action/2015 for Action/1D, which is where all the fans come into play.
The British-Irish lads want their fans' voices heard since action/2015 is a group of organizations spanning the world that call on world leaders to make proper decisions for everyone's futures as stated on the Action/1D website.
Where Did One Direction's Liam Payne Vacation With His Girlfriend During The Band's Tour Hiatus?
In the video below, Harry Styles mentioned two bit summits that are taking place later this year. One is in September and the other is in December, in which world leaders will gather to discuss important issues spanning from "extreme poverty" to "climate change" and more.
So how can fans get involved? Well, all 1D fans have to do is take pictures and/or videos showing what matters to them. How do you see the world in the future? Will everyone truly be equal? Will we be able to combat all diseases? Then in September the band's partnership with action/2015 will launch a film that features many of these contributions. These contributions will impact the decisions the leaders at the two summits make since they come from the generation that is quite frankly the largest and is shaping the world into something better.
All four 1D members tweeted about this partnership and are urging their fans to rally together for this cause since it will make a big difference on the world.
"[G]et involved," Niall Horan urged.
Styles clearly is very passionate about this partnership with action/2015 seeing as he already commended those who have taken action so far by contributing to their project.
