Cody Simpson claims his mother, Angie, is not in talks to join the cast of Bravo's The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Following reports claiming Angie will be featured on the reality series' upcoming sixth season, which is currently in production, Simpson spoke out, revealing he knows nothing of the rumor.
“That was a rumor I heard,” Simpson told Extra TV on Thursday, adding, "She would have told me by now.”

TMZ reported on new of Angie's possible addition to the show on Tuesday, claiming Simpson was key to her role.
"Cody Simpson is getting dragged into his mom’s reality TV dreams, 'cause 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' wants Angie Simpson on the show ... as a package deal with Cody," the site claimed. "We’re told Angie's still in talks because producers want to make sure Cody can come on too. They think the Australian pop star would help draw a younger audience."
Also this week, Simpson addressed recent rumors regarding his recently-ended relationship with Gigi Hadid.
"People grow in different ways and separate, you know?" Simpson explained to E! News. "We'll never have any animosity between us, as it should be, and I want to be supportive of her. We're just on different paths right now."
Simpson went on to claim his recently split from Hadid has "freed up space for me to actually be myself."
"I haven't moved onto another celebrity girlfriend... and just because I haven't tweeted for the past ten minutes doesn't mean I'm dead. Seriously," he continued, adding, "I hear a lot of weird stuff about myself."
