Daniel Craig License: James Bond Actor Applies for Driving License in U.S.
Daniel Craig, the James Bond in the latest 007 movie "Skyfall," completed driving lessons in New York to obtain his license, according to reports.
The actor who appears in "Skyfall" racing in the streets of London in an Aston Martin vehicle, reportedly passed a written test and completed a five-hour lesson in a classroom, according to the New York Post.
"He was such a nice dude, so friendly," an office manager at the Professional Driving School of the Americas in New York City told the post.
Craig drives the iconic Aston Martin DB5 in "Skyfall," the same that Sean Connery drove when he was James Bond in "Goldfinger" fifty years ago.
The car has become synonymous with Bond in the film. It has machine guns under the headlights, releases oil slick and has an eject button.
Craig reportedly loves the iconic 007 vehicle.
"I love them, and this story was the perfect platform to re-introduce the DB5," Craig told USA Today. "The film is about Bond returning to his roots and confronting old demons, so it felt right. We get some good use out of it, too."
