'Basketball Wives LA' Season 4 Cast: Low Blows, Fights & Lots Of Shade Explode In Brand New Super Trailer [VIDEO]
As fans await the highly anticipated fourth season premiere of VH1’s Basketball Wives LA, the network has dropped another super trailer that reveals viewers had no idea of just how deep the drama was among the ladies this season.
Just days ahead of the new episode’s debut, the sneak peek shows that there is more tension than ever.
The show’s veterans Malaysia Pargo and Jackie Christie have officially ended their friendship. As Pargo puts it, it’s “as dead as my marriage.” (She recently finalized her divorce to Janerro Pargo). But what’s really interesting is that it looks like she cozies up to Christie’s husband, Doug. And avid viewers know that Jackie does not play any games when it comes to women being around her man.
Shaunie O’Neal tries to come in and settle all of the drama and calls out the ladies as “a hot mess.” But she ends up getting thrown into the “mess” herself. When they all take a girls’ getaway to Puerto Rico, Malaysia says Shaunie has an issue with “comparing” the Los Angeles women to the ones in Miami.
“Your group is a little immature,” Shaunie says.
Brandi Maxiell is the one who decides to confront her about it. That’s when things take a left turn. She goes in for Tami Roman and Shaunie, who both try to tell her she doesn’t want to mess with them. But Brandi is definitely unbothered.
“You think you’re better and you treat us with disrespect!” Brandi yells.
One of the newcomers, Mehgan James, 24, doesn’t waste time in letting her co-stars know that she’s “crazy.” Mehgan, who viewers might remember from Oxygen’s Bad Girls Club, ruffles their feathers when she doesn’t reveal that she knows Jackie. But it’s not clear how they two know one another. It all comes to a head when Jackie spits at Mehgan, who then lunges toward her. Other than Jackie, Mehgan also stirs up drama with Draya Michele. Draya disses Pargo and Brandi for getting along with James. But Malaysia reminds Draya she wasn’t supportive for her during her divorce.
Check it out below and don’t miss the season premiere Sunday (July 12) at 9/8c.
