Victor (Eric Braeden) may be sitting in jail, but he still wants everyone especially Neil (Kristoff. St. John) to know he is still running the show in the some way.

Will Cane & Lauren Wind Up Together On 'The Young and the Restless'?

Neil has been running interference between Victor and his wife Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott). Nikki has a drinking problem. She becomes even more dependent on alcohol when dealing with her husband and Neil has been trying to shelter from that so she can lead a sober life.

In the sneak peek video for the episode airing today, July 10, Victor literally gets in Neil's face and physically assaults him, which leads to Neil on the floor.

Will A Star From 'The Young and the Restless' Exit From The Soap In A Shocking Way?

Why did Victor get physical with Neil? Well, Neil kind of provoked him by saying he'll do whatever he can to protect her, which Victor is not accepting of.

"I'm going to remind her what a cheat, what a thief, what a liar you are," Neil says before getting punched in the gut and face.

Nikki will wind up at the police station later on in the episode according to Soaps, where they will argue about him shooting Jack (Peter Bergman) some more, among other stuff.

That's not the only stuff going down in Genoa City though. Sharon (Sharon Case) will tell Dylan (Steve Burton) to steer clear of Avery (Jessica Collins).

It also appears as though Avery may just take the law into her own hands by ending Joe (Scott Elrod) herself. In the teaser video she kind of threatens him in a sense by stating, "If Dylan had wanted to kill you, you'd be dead."

That isn't the end of their ongoing battle. Soaps dished that Avery might put a bullet in him with Dylan's gun.

The Young and the Restless airs on weekdays at 12:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
