'Once Upon a Time' Season 5 Spoilers: Producers Cast Merlin, Guinevere & Percival Ahead Of New Episodes
The producers of ABC's Once Upon a Time have reportedly cast the roles of Merlin and Guinevere.

A new Deadline report reveals that Elliot Knight and Joana Metrass have been cast as Merlin and Guinevere, respectively. However, Deadline is reporting that her name is actually Quinevere not Guinevere.
Additionally, Andrew Jenkins has been cast as Percival, a member of King Arthur's knights of the round table. All three actors join Liam Garrigan as King Arthur as new additions to season 5.

Merlin in particular will be one of the more important characters going forward, considering he is the only one who can save Emma (Jennifer Morrison) from the darkness.
Emma's new status as the Dark Swan will make her one of the more formidable villains in OUAT history. As co-creators Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz previewed to TV Insider, she is going to be very dangerous.
"As formidable as Emma was as a hero, she's going to be exponentially more dangerous as a villain," Horowitz teased.
Kitsis quipped, "I hope our fanbase reacts well-it seems like a large segment is very worried!"
Kitsis then added, "The first thing Emma wants to do is get the darkness out. But will she be able to resist taking a bite of the forbidden apple?"
We shall see when Once Upon a Time returns in two months.
Once Upon a Time season 5 premieres on Sunday, Sept. 27 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
