'American Horror Story' Season 5 News: Denis O'Hare Figuring Out 'Some Body Work' In Preparing For 'Hotel' Role
Denis O'Hare is doing some "character research" ahead of his new role in the next season of FX's American Horror Story.
The 'American Horror Story' Hotel Is Available For Check-In...At Comic-Con
O'Hare is one of many actors returning for the fifth season of the horror anthology series. Titled Hotel, O'Hare will be joined by previous co-stars Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Evan Peters and more, in addition to new stars to the show like Lady Gaga.
While O'Hare hasn't started filming his scenes yet, he revealed on Twitter this week that he was doing some research in preparation for his character.
O'Hare's "my bad" is in reference to a previous tweet where he said he was going to "start work on AHS-Hotel" in Los Angeles on Monday. This caused fans to assume that Monday would be the start of production itself.
Regardless, O'Hare's mention that his research involves some "body-work" suggests that his new character might have some sort of physical trait that is out of the ordinary. He has proven to have the capability of working with a physical trait in the past, such as his burn victim Larry Harvey in season 1 and his mute butler Spalding in Coven.
Very little has been announced officially about American Horror Story: Hotel as far as plot, though this may change on Sunday. Cast members Paulson, Peters, Bates, Angela Bassett and Matt Bomer will all be participating in a panel for the show at Comic-Con in San Diego. They will be in Hall H of the Convention Center at 12:30 p.m. PT.
American Horror Story: Hotel premieres in October on FX.
