For anyone who watches The Originals solely for the sexy actors, prepare for a lot of skin next season.

On Monday, Clevver News posted a live interview with Charles Michael Davis at Comic-Con in San Diego, California. The actor, who plays Marcel on the creepy drama, was asked how many times he plans on being shirtless on the series- his answers ought to make fans happy.
"There's gonna be five [shirtless scenes]," Davis revealed. "And that's just in the first episode."

"This year, I'm gonna try to take my shirt off as much as possible," the hunky star added.
As it turns out, Davis won't be the only one to show off his athletic physique on the series. When he revealed why everyone should watch the third season this fall, he mentioned that pretty much all the hotties on the show will be stripping off their clothes- not just their shirts.
"You gotta tune in to season three because everyone's going to be shirtless- guys and girls- and pantless too," Davis said. "I guarantee."
The actor then jokingly said that he was going to remove his shirt right there on the red carpet. He started to show some skin, but then covered himself up since no one can see that torso until the series returns.
