5 Seconds of Summer New Single: ‘She’s Kinda Hot’ Out Now, Aussies ‘Been Waiting So Long’ To Release It [VIDEO]
5 Seconds of Summer's new single is officially out!
The Australian band kicks off the North American leg of their Rock Out With Your Socks Out Tour tonight, July 17, in Las Vegas, but aside from that they've been doing some phoners for various radio stations premiering their new tune "She's Kinda Hot," which they penned with Benji and Joel Madden as well as their other long-time collaborator John Feldmann.
"She's Kinda Hot" has that typical pop/punk sound expected of the band, but holds a rockier edge. Plus, the lyrics dive deeper than thinking a girl is "kinda hot." The song is actually an anthem for those who will not conform to others' standards.

A really strong line in the song is, "When you've got bigger plans that no one else understands, you've got a shot though."
