Stitchers ended Tuesday night on quite the cliffhanger and in the episode prior to it a lot of questions were left looming about Kirsten's (Emma Ishta) childhood, but it seems like in the eighth episode, which hits TV screens this upcoming Tuesday night, viewers will learn a bit more courtesy of Maggie (Salli Richardson-Whitfield).

Kirsten's Boyfriend Liam Shows Up Out Of Nowhere On 'Stitchers'

The eighth episode is called Fire in the Hole, which centers on Kirsten's birthday according to the press release, but the happy celebration will take a turn for the worse.

On Kirsten's birthday she and the rest of the Stitchers program members will be working on a dangerous case that involves Kirsten stitching into the body of a disease researcher that's harboring a deadly virus.

Will Kirsten On 'Stitchers' Be Bothered By Cameron's Flirting?

The entire lab will be put on lockdown since the virus will spread to all of them.

In the preview below, Camille (Allison Scagliotti) shows her detest for bringing in this particular deceased individual to their lab considering their line of work dealing with "deadly viruses."

"What could possibly go wrong?" she asks the others, including Cameron (Kyle Harris) and Linus (Ritesh Rajan).

Of course a lot could go wrong and various clips flash of them and their fellow coworkers coming down with symptoms due to the exposure they had with the virus in the deceased's body.

It seems like with the possibility of death looming, Maggie will finally answer a bunch of Kirsten's ongoing questions about her past and more details about the connection Ed (Hugo Armstrong) has to the program and how he protected Kirsten, which is why he wound up dead.

"You've been asking for the truth. Now you have it," Maggie tells Kirsten as Kirsten holds the half of a photo she previously brought to Maggie as well as the missing half that Maggie had possession of.

This season of the first ever procedural drama on ABC Family concludes on Aug. 4, but in a press release from the network on Tuesday it has been given the green light for a second season so we imagine not all answers will be revealed within these last three episodes that remain.

Stitchers airs on ABC Family at 9 p.m. ET on Tuesdays.
