Zayn Malik has caused a lot of speculation since parting ways with the other One Direction members.
Did Former 1D Member Collaborate With British Rap Duo Krept & Konan?
Will he release solo music? It definitely seems likely, but this week things seemed pretty intense as his collaboration with British rap duo Krept & Konan kind of leaked.
On Monday the singer had some words for his now former friend Naughty Boy on Twitter.

He first insulted the producer's weight and then made a snide comment about the collaboration partially leaking.

It made it seem like things aren't as good as perceived by fans since he left 1D.
Plus, Naughty Boy has been fairly cryptic on Twitter. He hasn't bluntly called out Malik, but based on what happened Monday it seems like all of his moody tweets are about the former 1D member, including his "shame on you for changing" tweet from July 9.

Furthermore, Sugarscape reported by way of The Sun that Krept dished "there's more to it, which is between them," in regard to the recent Twitter beef Malik had with Naughty Boy.
With the disconnect between the singer and producer it seemed like perhaps his solo music would be put on hold, but Malik tweeted a picture from inside a recording studio booth Saturday.

Plus, Entertainment Weekly reported Thursday that he's still signed with Syco, which is the label behind One Direction.
It seems like despite the mega fight with Naughty Boy, Malik is still on track to get some solo music recorded and released soon.
