The romance between Callie and AJ will continue to blossom on The Fosters as they get to know each other better.
Chatter On Jesus's Future On 'The Fosters'
On Friday, a sneak peek was released as the two sit on a bench and discuss the drawing that AJ made for Callie on her birthday. She wants to know about the 'Super Callie' that AJ created and what her abilities are.
She is under the impression that the superhero version of her can fly, but AJ says that she manipulates gravity- in other words, she flies.
Chatter On The Evolving 'Jonnor' Relationship On 'The Fosters'
Callie then asks the guy about why he only draws superheroes; he says that it's because he understands those stories, and it's not because he's Captain America or anything...it's because he spent a majority of his life convincing himself that he is more than what the world thinks of him as.
Callie has a genuine understanding of what this feels like since she has spent most of her life in a battle that never ends. But with AJ around, it seems that those issues dissipate. So she tells him that the birthday present from him was her favorite gift she's ever received.
As the scene closes, the sparks fly between the two and Callie looks happier than she's been in a long time.
