The drama will continue in the third season of Reign as the characters spend more time together.
'Reign' Writers Are 'Back At Court' Working On New Episodes
On Thursday, Talk Nerdy With Us posted an interview with Jonathan Keltz, who plays Leith on the series. Earlier this week, the actor tweeted a photo of himself with Torrance Coombs (Bash), giving the impression that these characters might have more scenes together in future episodes.
While Keltz couldn't reveal too much about that, he did mention that fans can definitely expect some Leith-Bash moments.
Is Queen Elizabeth Going To Have An Affair With A Childhood Friend On 'Reign?'
"There will indeed, the context of which I cannot disclose," the actor said. "We do get to bro out yet again."
The cast and crew are only working on the second episode of the new season so no one seems to know too much more about what's going to happen next. Whatever it is though, it sounds like viewers can expect some enticing moments for Leith and Claude since he is her bodyguard.
"I think now what's building and what's brewing is a completely unlikely friendship and relationship," Keltz said. "You have two people who have come from completely different upbringings, with absolutely different moral standings, and goals, and compasses. The way that we've had to bridge those gaps because of when our lives have been in danger or in moments of vulnerability that we've witnessed each other in. I think there's definitely a connection there."
Reign Season 3 premieres on Friday, October 9 on The CW.
