A TVLine report reveals that Marisol Nichols will be guest starring in season 11 of Criminal Minds.

Previously, Nichols had a recurring role in the last season of NCIS, where she played the part of Agent Zoe Keats. The report reveals that the actress will be portraying Agent Colburn, "a top agent at a Los Angeles outpost of the FBI."

Nichols is the second addition to the cast. In June, CBS revealed that Aisha Tyler will be joining the cast as Dr. Tara Lewis a forensic psychologist who specializes in criminal cases.

The actress, who is known for her work on Archer and as a co-host of The Talk, will be playing a new member of the BAU, and is possibly a way to make up for the loss of Jennifer Love Hewitt, who opted out of season 11 on account of her pregnancy.

Entertainment Weekly also sourced an official description about the character:

"Her dream was to study psychopaths up close and personal - and her psychology background, combined with her experience in the FBI, brought her face-to-face with monsters. Her job was to stare them down and interview them, in order to determine if they were fit to stand trial. In the process, she made herself find the humanity inside these broken men (and, sometimes, women) in order to learn if there was a conscience behind their brutal crimes."

Season 11 will premiere on Sept. 30.

The finale of Criminal Minds aired on May 6.
