Kate Middleton's New Hairstyle Gets Windblown During Appearance [PHOTOS]
Style icon Kate Middleton changed up her much beloved look this week.
The Duchess of Cambridge turned up in Cambridge to celebrate the opening of a brand new hospital along with her husband, Prince William, and Middleton used the occasion to debut a new look for her famous tresses.
The duchess debuted a new hairstyle that has her long brown locks in cropped layers that sweep to the side and frame her face perfectly. She topped off the new look with sexy waves throughout her hair.

The duchess looked ravishing in an off white overcoat designed by MaxMara Belli and brown suede ankle boots from Aquatalia.
The crowd that arrived to greet Middleton and Prince William seemed to like Kate's new look, but the duchess wasn't so sure after a few gusts of wind blew her hair every which way.
Joanne Baldwin, a spectator at the event, told The Daily Mail that she complimented Kate on her hairstyle and the duchess thanked her but expressed her trepidation about it.
"I told her I loved her new hair style. She said, 'I'm not sure about it. It's a bit windy today.' I said, 'Don't worry, it looks lovely,'" Baldwin said.
There was at least one familiar face in the crowd for Middleton to greet — Penny Barton, who is the first cousin of Kate's father Michael Middleton.
"She did look a bit surprised, although I think she knew I would be here," Barton said. "The family is terribly thrilled and very, very proud because we think she does a good job and it's not easy walking about talking to lots of people and being genuinely interested in who she meets."
