'Captain America 3' Martin Freeman Drops Cryptic Hints, Is He A Hero Or A Villain?
Marvel's tiniest hero closed out his origin story by throwing to Captain America (Chris Evans) and Falcon (Anthony Mackie) as they finally track down the wayward Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan). While most Marvel stings take place before the film their teasing, this particular clip happened to come from the middle of Caps next adventure.
"That is photography from that film that will play a part at a certain point in that film," Marvel Studio's Kevin Feige explained to Zap2It.
Once Steve does reunite with his childhood pal, the First Avenger will have to decide if Bucky Barnes really can be saved.
"Can he save his friend? Can he turn the Winter Soldier back into Bucky? Is that even possible?" Feige teased. "While the Winter Soldier, from most other people's point of view, is the deadliest, worst assassin of the past 70 years. So some people are like, 'Cap, you've got to let it go. He's not the guy that you used to know.'"
Although the Winter Soldier isn't the principal player of this particular film (one is enough, apparently), it sounds like viewers may finally get the answers they've been waiting for.
