Tamar Braxton and her sisters have had lots of drama this season on WeTV’s Braxton Family Values. Braxton dishes on whether their relationship has changed as a result of her fame.

“I’m still the youngest. And I’m still treated as such,” she told Angie Martinez earlier this week. “I love that though. I appreciate it. First of all it keeps you grounded completely. Second of all, those are my sisters.”

She went on to say that despite their arguments in the past concerning her new fame and career, she does “believe” they are happy for her.

“But I do think I work on their last nerve. I know it’s hard to believe,” she added and laughed. “Good girls, good sisters. I’m really glad that we get a chance tow work together.”

Still, she added that thanks to the help of Bishop T.D. Jakes, who made an appearance on the last two episodes of Braxton Family Values, she has been able to celebrate herself.

“Bishop T.D. Jakes came on and he gave us our life… The best thing he told me… He told me ‘stop looking for people to clap for you. Clap for yourself. Be proud of yourself. Be proud of your accomplishments.’

"I don’t know why I would feel like when I walk in a room everybody’s supposed to cheering ‘Go Tamar!’ No these are my own dreams and goals and aspirations. So I should clap for me because I set those goals for myself. Everything else is a bonus.”

See what Tamar had to say about her sisters and the show at the 11:19 mark in the full interview below.
