It is no surprise that the Aussies of 5 Seconds of Summer are super creative.

They love writing songs and playing instruments, but bassist Calum Hood likes doing even more than those artistic things.
He likes to write in general and his friend, hairstylist Kelsey Zahn, got him a notebook to let his creativity flow.

On Thursday Hood tweeted a picture of the notebook she got him with the note she left on it, which says, "Cal, For your bright, new fiction career. xx Kelsey".

It looks like she gave him a pen too. Anyway, Hood revealed that "ever since" he was in school he "loved to write stories" and now it looks like he'll be able to start doing that again since he's been supplied with a notebook and pen just for it. Plus, we're certain he'll have downtime and days on the tour where he wants to disconnect so this could be a good solution.
"Never stop creating!" the bassist also mentioned in the tweet as well as thanking Zahn for the thoughtful gift.
Zahn got a little funny as she let him know she is expecting his "first draft" come Monday.
