Pippa Middleton News 2015: Is Queen Elizabeth Blocking Her Chances Of Joining ‘Dancing With The Stars?’ [VIDEO]
It looks as though Pippa Middleton is ready to put on her dancing shoes, but Queen Elizabeth might be having none of it, although she's not even an official part of the royal family. Rumor has it that Kate Middleton's sister is desperate to join the American version of the show, but unfortunately Kensington Palace isn't giving her the green light she needs to show off her moves on the dance floor.
According to Celebrity Dirty Laundry on Friday, Pippa has even been begging dancer Derek Hough to help her land a spot on the show so she can continue to "cash in" on the Duchess of Cambridge's fame Stateside. The only problem is, Queen Elizabeth is making it clear that it's not about to happen on her watch.
A source told the site, "She wants her sister's fame, that's for sure. I heard she is desperate to be on Dancing With The Stars, but the palace asked her to back off. They felt it would sully the image of her sister, the Duchess of Cambridge. Well, I tell you she did not care! She contacted Derek Hough, and he is a big fan of the idea."
If that weren't enough, Queen Elizabeth is reportedly no fan of the Middleton family, either.
The site explained, "Queen Elizabeth absolutely despises Kate Middleton's commoner family - and the fact that they have been using their connections to the royals to line their pockets for years. Pippa joining the ABC reality show would be an absolute mockery of their royal family and everything they stand for."
