Mario Lopez Wedding in Mexico Today: 'X Factor' To Marry Fiance Courtney Mazza
Mario Lopez' wedding is going to be celebrated in Mexico today, the same place where he proposed to his girlfriend Courtney Mazza two years ago, according to various media reports.
The "X Factor" host, 39 will tie the knot with his fiance, 31 at 5 p.m. EST at the house of his friend Joe Francis in Punta Mita, Mexico, according to In Touch magazine. The couple will exchange vows in front of a Catholic priest, according to the report.
"Mario and Courtney want to say their vows before sunset so everyone can start partying as the sun goes down," a source told In Touch.
The wedding is expected to be filmed for a TLC two-hour special "Mario & Courtney's Wedding Fiesta" to air in December 8.
"I'm just a sidekick in it. My fiancée is the star," Lopez says of the special, according to People magazine. "I just want the wedding itself to be fun, just a blast, everybody to party and have fun and to go all night."
Lopez' close friend Eva Longoria is among the guests for the big day and she tweeted Saturday "So Excited to be here!"
Lopez proposed to Mazza in 2010 during a Christmas vacation in Mexico. He filmed his proposal for a special that aired on his show.
"I'm never going to meet another woman as special and amazing," said Lopez.
Lopez and Mazza have a two year old daughter named Gia who according to In Touch magazine would be the flower girl for their wedding.
