To what will surely be the disappointment to a ton of Star Wars diehards, rumors are swirling around that director J.J. Abrams may be pulling out of Star Wars: Episode VII.

J.J. Abrams, who will be directing Star Wars Episode VII, made an appearance at the Produced By conference and revealed details about the upcoming film. Production is set to start at the beginning of 2014, with Abrams adding, "Most likely we are going to be moving to London at the end of the year for the Star Wars movie."

The J.J. Abrams-directed seque Star Trek Into Darkness closed with $84.1 million in North America its solid four-daydebut.The film earned $40 million overseas over the weekend for an early global total of $164.6 million.Many box office observers believed Into Darkness had potential at hitting $100 million in North America.
