Prior to its Nov. 12 launch date, Disney Plus was perceived as a mere collection of old movies. However, it was that library of Disney Classics that fed the cravings of those hungry for nostalgia.
Netflix revealed a May slate that's brimming with quality content. The streaming service offered fans the chance to watch Disney Pixar's 'Coco,' as well as new episodes of hit TV shows including 'Riverdale' and 'The Flash.'
The Cannes Film Festival officially banned entries from Netflix and all other streaming services. Films without theatrical distribution are no longer allowed to compete for the prestigious Palme d'Or.
