Last month Angelina Jolie made the shocking decision to divorce her marriage with Brad Pitt. It followed a series of dramatic events including their custody battle and child abuse claims against Pitt.

According to People, Pitt was able to spend some time with his children for the first time since the divorce announcement last Oct. 8. It was part of the temporary agreement that was recommended by the Department of Children and Family Services. Pitt and Jolie also agreed that a therapist would be present during the said meeting.

The DCFS required the presence of a therapist after Pitt allegedly became verbally abusive with their oldest son Maddox during a flight on the family's private plane in a flight from France to the US. A source told People that Pitt will do anything just to be with his children.

According to Mirror UK, aside from the DCFS, the FBI is also looking into the child abuse allegations against Pitt. However, it was reported that the FBI has not yet opened a formal investigation on the matter. There are reports that claim that they are still gathering some information about it and not yet calling it an investigation.

Pitt and Jolie were together for 12 years and were married for two. Last September 19, Jolie filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences. It was speculated that Jolie decided to end her marriage just days after the incident inside the plane.

She is now seeking full physical custody of their six children namely, Maddox, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Knox and Vivienne, eight. However, she would allow Pitt visitation rights.

The temporary agreement between Pitt and Jolie will end on Oct. 20. Before that, Pitt and Jolie will undergo individual counseling and family therapy. Aside from that, Pitt will continue with drug and alcohol testing.
