On Monday night, a small plane crashed near the John C. Tune Airport in Nashville, Tennessee.

Four people were presumed dead, according to authorities. It appears that the people were members from the same family with no survivors on board, according to Don Aaron with the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department.

The plane was apparently leaving Great Bend Municipal Airport in Great Bend, Kansas, and was preparing for a second approach to the airport in Nashville, Aaron reportedly said.

CNN posted the news on Tuesday. The cause of the crash is unknown at this time.

The plane crashed beside the Bellevue YMCA, and no other injuries have been reported.

ABC reported that cars in the parking lot got damaged due to the crash.

Police reported that the plane hit trees near the YMCA before it crashed to the ground. All of the debris is said to have spread more than 80 yards in an area.

Morgan MacGavin was studying in a Starbucks where she and others ran outside to see a blazing fire with smoke.

"It looked like someone had pored gasoline on a bonfire," MacGavin said. "It was probably the largest fire I have ever seen in my life."

Jessica Fain, a spokeswoman for the YMCA of Middle Tennessee, said that no one inside was injured and the center was evacuated. She said she wasn't aware how many people were inside the gym, but the crash had supposedly taken place during a peak time.

Nashville fire department spokeswoman Kim Lawson reportedly said that no one on the ground was injured.
