With slots open in the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast, could veteran actress Suzanne Somers be joining the ladies for Season 5?

According to E! Online, the rumor is not true. Although Somers is reportedly friends with some of the women, she will not be a new housewife. The website reports that Somers "may have filmed or is going to film scenes in a social setting, but she is not joining the cast." Somers had previously made a cameo on the Bravo show.
A rep for Somers also said the reports are untrue. "We do not have any comment, since no one has contacted Suzanne about these talks."
Lisa Vanderpump Returning To Real Housewives For Season 5
Earlier this month, Somers actually discussed the possibility on Access Hollywood. "I'm charming too," she said. "I'm looking for a place to use my charm, so I keep testing waters here and there."
Somers said she probably wouldn't interested in doing the show because she likes to get along with people. "That's not in my nature, I don't fight."
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills are known to get into some fights, but they also make up. Despite not getting along in past seasons, cast member Kyle Richards said she was happy Lisa Vanderpump was returning to the show.
"It will be good," Richards told E! Online this week. "I'm glad she's coming back. We're friends." The two had actually partied together at Vanderpump's restaurant Pump recently, documenting their fun night on Twitter.
On June 21, Richards tweeted "Fun night @ Pump w/ @LisaVanderpump & just a dozen off duty @us_navyseals No big deal @MauricioUmansky & @KenToddBH were a wee bit jelly."
