Murphy, who is a mother of five and previously married to Eddie Murphy, has long been celebrated for her striking beauty since their marriage in the 1990s.

Murphy's decision to transform her brown hair into platinum blonde has garnered positive reactions from numerous fans, who see it as a symbolic step towards healing after her heartbreaking loss of her partner Warren Braithwaite. Despite the change, her iconic short pixie cut remains, now bleached to a shade that complements her radiant golden bronze skin tone.

The model unveiled her freshly styled hair on Instagram earlier this month, where she confidently gazes into the camera with a captivating smile. Alongside the post, Murphy wrote: "She's back. Loving my new look and feeling fabulous! #fountainofyouryouth #fabover50."

On June 30, Murphy treated her one million Instagram followers to an up-close view of her recent makeover through her Instagram Story.

A video of the 56-year-old sparked a frenzy among its followers, who flooded the comment section with enthusiastic responses to her new look.

Murphy's boyfriend Braithwaite, according to 'Essence,' died of cancer in March 2024.

"I miss you so much my love," Murphy wrote in her caption. "May you rest in peace my sweet. It's so hard not hearing your voice or seeing your face. You were my world & my everything."

In July 2023, the pair went Instagram official with their relationship, including sharing moments of her son Myles' wedding whom she shares with Eddie in September of 2023.
