An unorthodox exchange and aggressive behavior at a Seattle bar landed Katt Williams in King County Jail on Sunday. The comedian also allegedly refused to show identification to a police officer who requested it at the scene.

According to WPTV, Williams was said to have "exchanged words with patrons in the bar, brandished a pool cue at a bar manager and refused to leave the business."

The 41-year-old, who was in the Seattle area performing his stand-up comedy show, was charged with assault, harassment and obstruction.

Officer Michael Virgilio noted in the celebrity's arrest report that he responded to a police call for help at the World Sports Bar on Sunday afternoon. The establishment's manager stated that Williams returned to the bar after being involved in a dispute with another patron on the previous night.

"I supposed you're going to ask me to take my hands out of my pockets, huh," Williams said to the policeman.

Virgilio said that Williams would not show his ID or give his name but did "yell out a CA driver's license number," he said.

"He stated that he had been arrested over 30 times in the last few months and every time he was released prior to being booked into jail. He made comments regarding my employment with the city of Seattle and how it would end as a result of his arrest. Williams stated he had millions of dollars and this arrest would not affect him," Virgilio added.

When the officer found the comedian's passport upon conducting a search, he asked Williams why he didn't just hand it to him.

"You asked for my driver's license. I didn't have it," Williams said.

"Williams became aggressive and resistant and his actions forced me to take him to the ground for a short period of time. He was subsequently placed in the back of my patrol car," Virgilio said.

Williams first gained notoriety in 1999 for his many appearances on the comedy scene. His often-vulgar style has garnered comparisons to comedy legend Richard Pryor.
