Katt Williams announced his retirement from stand-up comedy on Monday and added that he plans on suing the city of Seattle for ruining his reputation not only as a comedian, but also as a citizen, according to WPTV.

He told a photographer for Seattle TV station KOMO on Monday night that he is "kinda done" with stand-up comedy and then went on to say that he will officially retire from the profession. The 41-year-old added that he will stay in Seattle until this court date on Thursday and until he files a lawsuit against the city "for this $50 million that I want for crippling my reputation as a father and a black man and as a taxpaying citizen and as a person who is not a convicted felon."

Williams was arrested on Sunday and put into King County jail after getting into a heated dispute in a Seattle bar.

Williams was said to have "exchanged words with patrons in the bar, brandished a pool cue at a bar manager and refused to leave the business," WPTV reported. The comedian then allegedly refused to show identification to a police officer who was called to the scene. He was arrested and charged with assault, harassment and obstruction, though he was released on bond Monday morning, a jail official said.

Officer Michael Virgilio, who arrested Williams on Sunday, said that Williams admitted during the incident that he had been arrested over 30 times in the past few months. The comedian also reportedly threatened Virgilio's job.

"He stated he had been arrested over 30 times in the last few months and every time he was released prior to being booked into jail," Virgilio wrote in his police report. "He made comments regarding my employment with the city of Seattle and how it would end as a result of his arrest. Williams stated he had millions of dollars and this arrest would not affect him."

Williams is currently on tour and has upcoming December shows in Texas, Louisiana and Alabama, to name a few.
