Casey Anthony Sighting: Acquitted Mother Seen Dining With Man at Steakhouse (PHOTO)
Casey Anthony, who has managed to stay incognito since being acquitted last year for the murder of her 2-year-old daughter, was reportedly seen dinning at a steakhouse in Florida.
Donning a white beanie, the 26-year-old was spotted having dinner with Pat McKenna, according to Gossip Extra, which received a blurry photo taken from a cell phone on Tuesday.
McKenna, who is from West Palm Beach, had worked as an investigator on Anthony's court case. He reportedly picked up the tab, which included chicken wings and shrimp.
Radar Online is stating that the photo of Anthony at Flanigan's Seafood Bar and Grill in Lake Worth, Fla., was actually taken on Dec. 7.
While she didn't appear on camera, Anthony was interviewed by CNN's Pier Morgan back in June. She reportedly stated the following to the host during a phone conversation:
"I'm ashamed in many ways of the person that I was. Even then, that wasn't who I am. I'm 26 now, and I've gone through hell."
Last month, Florida sheriff's investigators stated that they'd missed a crucial piece of evidence that could've incarcerated Anthony for the death of her daughter, Caylee, who disappeared in 2008.
Six months later, her skeletal remains were found in a wooded area near the family's residence. Investigators also said they'd found a Google search on the family's computer for "fool-proof suffocation."
Since being released, Anthony has been keeping a low profile because her attorney states she was receiving death threats.
Up until this point, the only glimpses of Anthony have been through video diaries she previously released about settling into her new life.
Nonetheless, she'll be back in the spotlight when Lifetime airs the TV movie "Prosecuting Casey Anthony," which is set to premiere in January. Actor Robe Lowe will play the part of prosecutor Jeff Ashton while Virginia Welch plays Anthony.
