Howard Arthur Klein, 87, may be the oldest man to solicit sex in Michigan history, according to locals. Klein was arrested back in June for prostitute solicitation, not knowing that the prostitute in question was an undercover cop.
"I talked to this gal from St. Pete's and Paul's," Klein told WOOD-TV back in July. "I thought that I knew her. I didn't say nothing to her. I just said, 'Hi,' and nothing else and I left."

He said that he thought he knew the prostitute from his local church.
The man was not officially taken into custody and was ultimately arraigned on July 8. Four people (two men and two women) were arrested alongside Klein. Charges were not pressed against the 87-year-old, who would have faced up to 93 days in jail.
"What would be the purpose in prosecuting him?" said William Forsyth, Kent County Prosecutor, Tuesday. "He wouldn't and shouldn't go to jail and 87 years without involvement in the criminal justice system has, in my opinion, earned him a pass."
Forsyth continued: "I could see no compelling reason to continue to prosecute Mr. Klein on the ticket he was issued for accosting and soliciting," Forsyth said. "He is 87 years old with absolutely no criminal record. In addition, I am told he struggles to some degree with dementia."
The story has gone viral on various sites this week.
