Jennifer Aniston's mother Nancy Dow was rushed to the hospital last week after suffering another stroke, sparking concern that her health is deterioriating. The recent scare is her second stroke in 15 months.

A source close to the 76-year-old told Celebuzz that it wasn't a serious scare, but that she was taken to the hospital as a precaution.

"Luckily, this one was minor," said the source. "She went to the hospital, but she's already back home. But she's having trouble talking and is still shuffling around."

Dow has had a series of health concerns since her 2011 stroke such as a broken hip bone after a fall. She currently receives 24-hour care and has limited mobility on her own.

Aniston has also been concerned for her mother's mental health as she believes Dow may be suffering from the early stages of Alzheimer's.

"It's heartbreaking. Her mom's deterioration has been shocking, and Jen just wants to see her well again," said a source for The National Enquirer in November. "Jennifer can't bear to think of her mother having such a terrible, incurable disease."

The former "Friends" star and her estranged mother has had a tough relationship since Dow talked about their family feud in a 1996.

Dow was married to "Days of Our Lives" actor John Aniston, Jennifer's father, until 1980 and published her memoir in 1999 titled From Mother And Daughter To Friends. This was the start of a rocky relationship between Aniston and her mother.

But Aniston is taking care of her mother and trying to patch the relationship back together.

"Jennifer is paying her medical bills," said the Celebuzz source. "So she's involved to an extent in her mom's life and well-being, and they're getting friendlier than years ago."

Celebuzz also reported that Aniston brought her fiancé, Justin Theroux, to meet Dow last year and that she was invited to the couple's wedding. Dow was not invited to her daughter's wedding with ex-husband Brad Pitt.
