Katt williams was arrested on Friday on suspicion of child endangerment, according to reports.

The comedian was arrested at his Los Angeles home for allegedly endangering four children, celebrities website TMZ reported. Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services found guns and illegal drugs in the house and said it was dangerous for the kids.

Williams was being held on $100,000 bail and the children placed in protective custody, according to reports.

According to WENN.com, the comedian is due in court next week to determine whether he will face felony child endangerment charges.

Williams has been arrested several times in recent months and has showed improper behaviour.

In an incident in November, he slapped a Target employee who he said insulted him.

Early December he was arrested after getting into a heated dispute in a Seattle bar.

At the time, the 41-year-old comedian told police that he had been arrested over 30 times in the last few months.

Williams announced his retirement from stand-up comedy earlier in December and said on the same day that he plans on suing the city of Seattle for ruining his reputation not only as a comedian, but also as a citizen.
