Dunkin Donuts: The coffee and donut chain is offering a free medium hot or iced dark roast all day on Sept. 29.

Kahwa Coffee: Those who say 'I live United" at the counter on Sept. 29 will receive a free small coffee. The offer is in conjunction with a partnership with the United Way.

Krispy Kreme: Not to be outdone by their competitors, the donut chain is not only giving away free small coffees, but a free original glazed donut as well. Plus, small iced coffees, lattes or mochas are only $1.00.

LaMar's Donuts: Stop in for a free 12 oz. cup of coffee as well as free mugs as long as supplies last.

McDonald's: Participating restaurants will offer free small coffees.

Pilot Flying J: Receive a free 16 oz. cup of coffee

Sheetz: Receive a free cup of their new generation of coffee for free

Stewart's Shops: After 3 p.m., any sized hot or iced coffee in any flavor-including seasonal pumpkin coffees-are free.

Wawa: The convenience stores are offering any size free cups of coffee all day

Whole Foods: The organic market chain has actually been celebrating coffee all month long, offering a 12 oz. cup for just $0.25.

Staples: The office supplies retailer will be running a contest for a chance at winning a free coffee pack. To enter the contest, share a photo on social media with your coffee mug and use #OfficeMugShot.

Starbucks: While perhaps the best known name in coffee doesn't appear to be partaking in offers of free coffee for customers, they are giving back to the community as a whole. Beginning on Sept. 29, everytime someone purchases a bag of Starbucks brand coffee in one of their stores over the course of the next year, the company will plant a tree in a community that needs one.
