The new big craze in China apparently is for people to wear fake plant sprouts made from plastic (usually a bean sprout, but can be flowers, fruits, or vegetables) in their hair. No one is sure how it got started or what exactly is the motivation for the new fab, but it’s definitely taken off amongst people in their teens and 20s and is fueled by the internet.

The daily fantasy sports industry, which are websites that essential allow users to bet on their fantasy sports picks, has been booming over the last couple years and the revelation that employees from site have been playing and winning big on their competitors has raised the fear that they may use data from their jobs to gain an advantage over other players.
