The Fight Over Gun Control Is Back In Congress
Senate Democrats announced plans to block all legislation starting today, until the legislature votes on their proposed gun control legislation. The fight is back on after last week's mass shooting at Umpqua Community College in Oregon.
Bill Cosby Will Be Answering Questions Under Oath
The tarnished comedian will be deposed tomorrow for a lawsuit by one of the MANY women accusing him of sexual assault. It'll be the first time that Cosby will have to answer questions since public knowledge of the allegations gained more steam in the last year. But a judge has ordered that the deposition will be sealed for 60 days...meaning we'll have to wait until December 22 to know what he said.
New York Comic Con Kicks Off!
The four day festival of everything geek will be taking over the Big Apple until Sunday. Although it's not as popular as THE Comic Con in San Diego, you should be prepare for plenty of announcements in regards to those anticipated superhero movies.

Who Wants To Be House Speaker?
House Republican meet today behind closed doors to begin the process of picking John Boehner's replacement. So far there are three GOP Representatives vying to be the new Speaker of House: California's Kevin McCarthy (considered the front-runner), Jason Chaffetz from Utah and Florida Representative Daniel Webster. Several party insiders have urged Wisconsin's Paul Ryan to throw his hat in the ring, but he's sticking his decision to decline running for the post. UPDATE: Uhhhh, so McCarthy shocking decided to drop out of the race, pushing back the whole process and throwing everything into anarchy. Good times.
