Heidi Klum, Marie Claire Cover: Talks Wild Sex, Divorce & Being A Cougar
Though Heidi Klum is dating her bodyguard Martin Kristen, she said following her divorce from Seal in April 2012 she does not plan on walking down the aisle again, ever.
The "Project Runway" was interviewed for her cover shot on the February issue of Marie Claire magazine. When asked about her relationship with Kristen in terms of ever exchanging vows, she replied saying that she does not want to marry again, even though her and singer Seal made a point of it to renew their wedding vows every year.
"I don't think so. No. No," Klum, 39, said when asked about getting married. "I wanted to keep the memory of our wedding alive every year, that's why I thought it would be fun to get married over and over. But now I don't think it's that important.
"I'm not angry about anything, but I don't think I will," she added. "Maybe if I'm with someone for 15 or 20 years, and we do it in our old age as a fun thing to do ... But I don't have the urgency anymore."
The model also discussed her divorce to Seal, saying that she cannot understand why people made the public breakup such a big spectacle. The family has moved on since the April proceedings but Klum noted, " 'People say, 'Oh, God, how devastating to go through a divorce.' "
"Did I wish for this to happen to my family? No." Klum said. "It's not what I wanted - it's not what anyone wanted - but it's not a real problem."
As far as her sexual preferences, Klum did say it was good to make a big deal out of that. She is not opposed to letting out her wild side and making the effort to dress up sometimes and do thing "outside of the norm."
"Some people are more experimental in bed and others are more boring," the former Victoria's Secret model said. "If you are wild and crazy, bring it on so the other person is well aware that you have little devil horns that come out every once in a while."
Since her divorce, Klum has been romantically linked to Kristen and said she has no interest in being a Hollywood cougar chasing much younger men. She admitted that yes, "when men get older, their shape changes," but she ended off with, "I am realistic. I'm turning 40 next year."
"I don't think I could deal with waking up next to a 25-year-old," she added.
