Is Emilia Clarke Really The Sexiest Woman On The 'Game of Thrones' Cast?
Emilia Clarke has another title to add to the already long list she has amassed.
The Game of Thrones actress, whose portrayal of Daenerys Targaryen on the HBO smash has made her a breakout star, has officially been named Esquire's Sexiest Woman Alive for 2015--not long after she also won GQ's Woman of the Year award.
In the accompanying article that explains why she won the title, Clarke, 28, is described as someone who blends together opposites so well that it makes her sex appeal greater than anyone could have expected.
"She manages to bring together a number of opposites, to make them natural; sweetness and toughness, emotionalism with a kind of cold-blooded determination. Something in these contrasts explains her sex appeal, too. She can play queen and kid sister, dominatrix and pal," Benjamin Markovitz writes.
However, while Clarke does exhibit sex appeal, it's curious that she has won out the title over some of her co-stars, several of whom have also shown quite a bit of sex appeal of their own both on and off the show, including:

Emmanuel, who portrays Daenerys' most loyal confidante Missandei, is also someone who exudes sexual appeal. However, her character doesn't necessarily exhibit the same smolder as Clarke's, because she is still fairly innocent by GOT standards.

Dormer's character Margery Tyrell is perhaps one of the most sexually confident characters on a show that oozes sexiness, as she hasn't had a problem using her body and her ability to give sultry stares to go after what she wants, which has always been the title of queen. Her beauty and her ability to sell her sexual presence helped her finally secure that title after Joffrey was killed, by endearing herself to his younger brother and current king, Tommen.

While Sansa Stark is still considered more naïve and innocent on the show, and had her sexual innocence cruelly ripped away from her by Ramsey Bolton, the 19-year-old Turner does have a certain appeal to her that does amp up how sexual she is. She's also beginning to explore more sexualized roles outside of the show as well.
Lena Headey

Cersei Lannister, also known as the queen regent, has a sex appeal which varies depending on how much her incestuous relationship with her brother grosses the viewer out, but there's no questioning that Headey herself does have an appeal both in and out of Westeros.

The Red Witch Melisandre is someone who is never afraid to use sex to promote how powerful she really is. She successfully seduced Stannis in order to produce the shadow baby which went on to kill Renly--and she tried several times to seduce Jon Snow as well while she was at the Wall. Van Houten definitely knows how to sell sex in her role, so it should come as no surprise that she can bewitch others with her sexiness in the real world as well.

Many of the show's characters don't seem to harbor any feelings of lust for Brienne of Tarth, who doesn't follow the more traditional mold of a female character and rarely needs to be rescued. However, her lack of fear and her general bada** personality does give her a more sexual appeal that the male characters don't seem to be picking up on just yet.
